If the combo enclosure ( 1394 interface )
does not mount under Win 98se or Win ME, you can find the HDD from
"My computer" then "Device manager" then "Disk
Drives'' then ''properties''and click ''Settings''.Please mark the
check box of " Removable" and restart computer .

enable" and "firewire support " version from
Extension whether they are v2.6 later or not,if they are not

If you have installed Newmotion firewire
driver,you can remove it from the Extension. and restart computer.

external drive.My G4(OS9.2.2) will not recognize the drive as bootable
(but it will recognize the drive as external HD. and I can transfer
data to the external drive). |

When you have the external drive as a bootable
drive for Mac,this bootable drive need to install the Firewire driver
first. If it still can't boot under Mac system, please send email
to our Tech_support. |

The slow data transfer rate is because you
haven't installed the drivers yet , so it only works as an USB 1.1
device. For Windows98/SE, please install the drivers on the CD supplied
with our product . |

If the external Firewire enclosure is used
on a Mac OS 8.6 or 9.0.4,the firewire extension has to be at least
v2.6 , you can download it from the Apple Homepage and copy the extension
needed.You can also Upgrade your OS to 9.1 later or OS X (10.2). |
